    It is a problem and you need to follow the instructions in this wiki article: Network Edition: Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Server - Zimbra :: Wiki Obviously the NE parts of it don't apply to the OSS version but the rest does.

    Just to update, the problem was isolated to going from 32 bit to 64 bit. I reinstalled the 32-bit version of the OS and followed the directions and everything worked fine. This is fine for now, but if we ever move to a new server we are going to have to figure out a way to move from 32-bit to 64-bit.

    Great! Thank you so much for your help. I will try this move when I actually have another machine to move to so that their is a failover plan. This move from virtual to physical was the scariest thing I have ever done. I don't like anything where one of the steps is to erase a perfectly good system.
