Question problem: failed to initialize documents

I'm trying to install ZCS 6.0.9 GA Release on CentOS 5 server.

When running the /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl script, an error occured:
Quote:
Finished installing common zimlets.
Getting list of all zimlets...done.
Updating non-standard zimlets...
Finished updating non-standard zimlets.
Initializing Documents...failed to initialize documents...see logfile for details.
Restarting mailboxd...done.
Setting up zimbra crontab...done.
The detailed log shows:

I guess it may be caused by some firewall programs. So I have iptables and SELinux fully disabled but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Remove your installation with './install.sh -u' - that will remove everything that was previously installed. Next, go to the Split DNS article and set it up correctly including the hosts file - you'll find full details in that article including a section on how to verify it's working correctly. When you've set-up the Split DNS you should re-install Zimbra.

I tried to remove my installation with './install.sh -u' and re-install again. But the problem remains the same.

I followed the verification steps in "Split DNS" article and think my settings is correct.

No, your settings are not correct. You are using the domain name instead of the FDQN of your server and your 127.0.0.1 line also is not correct - look at the description in the 'Verify..' section as it has a complete details in there of what's needed.

Ok, after changing cloudapply.org to mail.cloudapply.org, it works. Thank you for your patient reply.

You will also need to modify the loopback line in the hosts file otherwise you will have problems further down the line.
