Smile Need help on installation

hi,

i have got one linux box for dedicated server and is now pinging globally.. centos 5.3 is installed on it.. i wish to put this server for hosting business and would like to know if installing zimbra will help my customer use webmail using it .. for example vaidhiyanathan.com resolves from the linux and if i type webmail.vaidhiyanathan.com it should give me a webmail login .. if zimbra is installed on the linux server will this be served.. ?

pls advise.

Do you have a Split DNS installed (you need one if you're behind a NAT router or firewall). If you don't have one then I'd suggest you follow the instructions in that article and then check it with the commands in the 'Verify....' section.

You definitely need it, you should also make sure the hosts file is correct as per that Split DNS article.
