Default Questions before installing

hello,
I read in the documentation :
Zimbra install Tomcat, Mysql, etc ....

On my server (fedora core 5) I have Mysql installed, Tomcat installed and applications runnings with hpache, tomcat and mysql.

How must I proceed to keep my applications working ?

Thanks for your help

Welcome to the forums.

The version of MySQL in Zimbra uses a non-standard port so it shouldn't cause you problems. The only one that will is Port 80 for you current Apache install. When you install Zimbra it will check for port conflicts and allow you to change the number in Zimbra.

Thanks for your answer

So I can install Zimbra without problem(s) with my existing applications ?

Apache will listen an other port, or only Zimbra ?

And no problems with my applications running with Tomcat5 / Chrome (This application is "OpenSI")

You should have no problems as long as you change the zimbra ports at install time, go through the menu before you commit the install and check everything and change what you need. Have a search of the forums for related questions on this subject.
