Default [SOLVED] Archiving Setup

Hello, I am totally confused. I am trying to install an archive server along side my zimbra server, which is running perfectly. I have been through the directions 4 times now and still cant get this thing to work.

Are there any step by step directions out here for the installation of my archive server? I have recently updated the zimbra box to the latest version. how do I prepare what will be the archive server? what to install? etc.

So we don't have to keep asking you which version your running you should but the output of the following command in your forum profile (do not post it in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v

Which 'instructions' are you following? Do you mean a backup MX server? Where is this server going to be installed.

It would also help if you gave responses to the people who've replied to the other threads you've started on other problems.

Ok, I have put the version in the profile.

I was using the following directions: Ajcody-Notes-Archive-Discovery-Mailstore-Setup I understand that these are not "official" but they generally serve very well.

No, I am not adding a backup MX server

This server is going next to the Zimbra Mail Server and will be assuming the role of Archive and Discovery server.

I have marked the other two questions that I asked as solved.
