webmail and webmin stopped working

Hi,
This isn't really an installation issue but I was not sure where else to put it.

I came to try and login to my webmail which has been working fine for probably just over 12 month and couldn't get in.

This morning when I tried I could get the front login page of both the webmail and webmin but if i entered my login detail it would just sit there.

As the day has gone by and I have been messing around with it I now can't even get the login page to appear.

I can ssh into the server so it is there but accessing webmail or the web admin just don't work and I don't really know where else to look.

I haven't changed anything recently so what can have happened?

I have rebooted numerous times, installed more RAM as when I did a top the load averages where quite high with zmlogger taking up alot of the cpu from time to time but none of this has helped.

if I tail the mail.log file there seems to be messages coming in and sending test messages seem to appear in there so it seems to be receiving mail correctly .

I have done the same with the zimbra log and I get the following

from this it looks like something is going wrong but googling around I can't find anything that sorts the problem out.

I have tried to redreat the self signed cert as per
A network service error has occurred : timestamp check failed. – Unix Surgeon
and still nothing.

What is happening?!?

thanks in advance for any light anyone can shed on this issue as I have spent allday trying to get this sorted out

forgot to mention I am running ubuntu LTS 8.04 with zimbra 6.0.1_GA_1816.UBUNTU8_64 UBUNTU8_64 FOSS Edition
