Default There Is An Option

you can install zcs on fedora 13, as that is the exact same combination I am running on my box.

all you have to do is when installing, make sure to put in --platform-override after the ./install.sh command:

[root@localhost zimbra ~]# ./install.sh --platform-override

Have you tried checking your postfix configuration?? you must configure postfix with smtp-auth and dovecot??

"11 Postfix With SMTP-AUTH And TLS

Now we install Postfix and Dovecot (Dovecot will be our POP3/IMAP server):

yum install cyrus-sasl cyrus-sasl-devel cyrus-sasl-gssapi cyrus-sasl-md5 cyrus-sasl-plain postfix dovecot

Now we configure SMTP-AUTH and TLS:

postconf -e 'smtpd_sasl_local_domain ='
postconf -e 'smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes'
postconf -e 'smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous'
postconf -e 'broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes'
postconf -e 'smtpd_sasl_authenticated_header = yes'
postconf -e 'smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated,permit_mynetworks,reject _unauth_destination'
postconf -e 'inet_interfaces = all'
postconf -e 'mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8'"

this is taken from the perfect server on how to forge... this is for a 32 bit structure... if you are using 64 bit consult the howtoforge perfect server fedora 13

just solved your problem by taking a second look at your output code...
you need to turn off apache before configuring zimbra as it checks for port conflicts.. that is your problem...

Try looking in these forums, wiki & Documentation for the answer - you most likely need a Split DNS set-up (search the wiki for that term) and a valid /etc/hosts file (read the Quick Start Installation Guide).

You need to look in the log file and see what error you had during the install. The last time you posted on the forums you were installing Zimbra on Ubuntu, now it's Fedora 11- why don't you pick a more suitable server platform (you'll have a far better experience) such as Cent)S5 and install Zimbra on that? You should also spend some time reading the Quick Start Installation Guide and do some research in the forums about possible problems and solutions for your chosen platform.

BTW,you're likely to get your post missed or ignored when you add it to a thread that's already marked as Solved.
