Default zmtlsctl https - now I can't receive email

I recently installed a new Zimbra server and everything was working great. I decided to download/install Zimbra Desktop to evaluate the features and functionality. Zimbra Desktop wouldn't authenticate, so I followed instructions on a Zimbra Forum post (found here) that said I needed to run zmtlsctl https in order to get Zimbra Desktop to authenticate over SSL. After I ran that command, I no longer receive emails from external email servers. Does anyone know what could have happened?

Thanks for the help!

I suggested to use zmtlsctl redirect
And try to restart zimbra services then sent email from gmail or yahoo then see mailbox.log

If you got error, please post here

The change you've made shouldd not affect the ability of your Zimbra server to receive mail, the only change that makes is to require the web client connections to be on https rather than http. You need to look in the log files to see what errors you're getting - shutdown Zimbra then restart it and check the log files.

If I disable the firewall then everything works again. I don't remember having the firewall disabled, so did the firewall get enabled when I ran the zmtlsctl command? I'll keep looking into this...

Thanks for the replies

No, your firewall has nothing to do with ZImbra and Zimbra installation and cli command has no effect on whether your firewall is enabled or not. I guess you might have done a system upgrade that enabled it?
