Default Internal Email with domain

Trying to migration from a Linux Postfix/Cyrus environment where internal email do not need to be addressed as user@example.com. It is possible to configure Zimbra to accept username only email for users local to the server / domain?

Thanks,

Newbie trying to complete the migration.

I'm not aware of a way to make the users not have to type their email address to send email, but for logins, you can change the default domain: Setting a default domain name - Zimbra :: Wiki

GAL Autocomplete may help you in this case also.
Emails will still require a domain name for Zimbra to be happy.
