Exclamation Email not sent

Hi

I installed Zimbra Open Source edition on Ubuntu 8.04 and everything seems working fine. All the services are started and running. I can access the admin page and web mail without any error.

My question is that now if I want to configure external email accounts and also where I can do settings for SMTP?

This is my first installation and I am very new to all this. So please help me out that how can I get it configured and running with our company's email accounts?

Thanks

RizKhan

What SMTP settings do you mean?

I'd suggest you read the Admin Guide on the documents page (link at the top of this page) and spend some time researching in the forums, most questions posted here have already been answered.

You've given this thread a title of "Email not sent", what does that have to do with your questions?

SMTP settings mean that when I send an email even to local zimbra email account also it say that message sent but when I check in other account inbox so there it dont show any email received.

The message should be delivered and there's no need to enter any SMTP settings. If you're behind a NAT router (or firewall) have you set-up a Split DNS and is your /etc/hosts file correct (you can check that in the Quick Start Installation Guide)? You can verify the settings by following the instructions in the Split DNS article. You should also check the Log Files for any errors and have a look through the forums as this problem has most likely been answer before.
