I have searched zimbra forums and applied some recommendations and still did fix it.

    Thanks in advance.

In my last search I found disabling iptables. Installation now continues...

Hmm. Installation continued earlier, but I got disconnected so I reinstalled and got back to the same problem.

Why is this thread marked as Solved when it appears it isn't?

The usual reason for this porblem is a configuration error with your DNS and/or /etc/hosts file. As you're behind a NAT router you should not have SElinux and/or the Firewall enabled, I'd also suggest you visit the Split DNS article in the wiki and under the 'Verify...' section post the required output from the commands mentioned in that section.
    Regards

    Bill

I have tried all of those with no luck. So I reinstalled the OS, reformatted everything, and successfully installed zimbra.
