Default [SOLVED] pop3 issue

Hi All

I have a new Zimbra server built and am able to get users externally to use secure pop3 on 995. We have a number of machine internally that want to connect via standard pop3 on 110. I can telnet on to see the server is ready on 110 but when trying to connect via outlook for example it just keeps looping popping up a box asking for user name and password.

If i can it to secure 995 its fine but not standard. Can anyone advise

Thanks

Glenn

Check in the admin console for "Global Settings | POP"

Long time since we've allowed our server to use POP3 but if I remember correctly you need to enable clear text login to allow port 110 connections
