Default Zimbra installation

Hi Forum I'm new here....
but i was being reading some info about to share the installation of zimbra with some other services... but the info I was find is from 2006...

At Now, some version of ZCS (even OpenSource) lets share the server between zimbra and some application that can use the same TCP/IP Port?

for example/

If I have ZimbraCS running well on my server, can I install after a nagios and log into the nagios admin console using some other port (8080 or any)?

Or Share the MySQL infraestructure to deploy more then the Zimbra database?

For me, Its very important to know if the current versions of zimbra lets to the admins, share the power of zimbra with others applicatoions..

Thank You very Much

Best Regards from \Peru

That information is still valid.

You can't share the same TCP/IP port between multiple running applications, that's not a restriction of Zimbra.

You can install anything you like as long as it doesn't use any of the ports that Zimbra uses.

The Zimbra MySQL instances uses non-standard ports and doesn't interfere with any other installed instance of MySQL.

It's still not advised to run other applications on the Zimbra server for performance reasons.
