Default Certificate installation Wizard issue

Hi,

I'm trying to use the certificate installation wizard in

Release 6.0.6_GA_2330.RHEL5_64_20100505212335 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.

Under State/Province I need to enter my un-abbreviated state (New York). However, it tells me (the moment I hit the space key) "Value did not match valid values." and will not let me proceed unless I provide a value that has no space.

If I use an abbreviation (such as NY) The good people at Thawte tell me I cannot abbreviate the state.

Any tips?

TIA

I would use the CLI tools then; there are several wiki articles relating to commercial certs, e.g. Administration Console and CLI Certificate Tools - Zimbra :: Wiki

Hope that helps,
Mark

Default No joy in Mudville

Well, one would think that the CLI tool would work, but no. It simply removed the space from New and York to get NewYork... This is not a valid state.

Very frustrating. Other than this Zimbra is sweet.

Default Kind of Solved

Turns out that some Commercial Certificate Authorities want you to have an un-abbreviated state. Some do not. My solution was to use one of the authorities that allow abbreviations.
