Default [SOLVED] Incorrect Bounce Message

HI all
I have been using ZCS 5.0 for quite sometime and things were working well until I decided to upgrade ZCS 6.0 .
I did a clean install of ZCS 6.0. My config scenario is as follows

server : mail.abc.in ( where abc is my public domain )

I have created another domain within zimbra i.e abc.in

I create users in mail.abc.in domain and create an alias (eg myname@abc.in)

The reason for doing so is my users login using employee number eg 01546@mail.abc.in while their mails are sent and received in their respective alias (for eg myname@abc.in)

My MX records are working fine and DNS is internally hosted. Nslookup and dig for abc.in and mail.abc.in reply with the correct MX records.

Now the problem :
When I send mails from external network (eg gmail.com) to address myname@abc.in. The mail is delivered to the correct mailbox but the sender still gets a bounced message like this

The mail system

: abc.in

Final-Recipient: rfc822; dhiraj@abc.in
Original-Recipient: rfc822;dhiraj@abc.in
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; abc.in

And this is what i get in the zimbra.log file

Jun 10 15:32:11 mail postfix/error[11718]: DBBD72185EA: to=, relay=none, delay=0.02, delays=0.01/0.01/0/0, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (abc.in)

I have already read about split DNS and other workarounds as mentioned in the zimbra wiki for incoming issues but the problem persists.

Plzzzzzz Help !!!!!!!!!

Default

I solved my problem myself. The problem was not with the DNS but with my mailbox configuration where i mistakenly added myname@abc.in as the forward address instead of the reply to field and the problem started.

Mods please close the thread. Thanks for the support ZIMBRA ROCKS !!!!!!!
