Default [SOLVED] Configuring GAL to work with Outlook 2007

Hello all

I'm trying to configure Global Address List in Zimbra and would like to list de address in my Outlook 2007 but I can't. I'm looking for all the internet but I could do this work, the Outlook 2007 doens't list my address. I'm using Zimbra 6.0.6.1 (I install zimbra 6.0.6 and apply the patch zcs-patch-6.0.6_GA_2332.tgz)

I try to configure in admin console

Settings -> Domains -> MyDomain.com -> Global Address List

Global Address List mode I choose Internal and I configure a galsync@mydomain.com for sync contacts

For my Outlook I follow this instrutions
Mail Client LDAP Configuration - Zimbra :: Wiki

Could be a problem with de patch (zcs-patch-6.0.6_GA_2332.tgz)?

Somebody can help me?
Thanks

This is my problem too. I think this problem occurs starting from zimbra version 6.0 because of ldap scheme changes. As of now. I cannot resolve this problem. Thanks

I install version 5.0.23 and works fine, I think it's a problem with version 6.

Did you look in the Release Notes at the section on Anonymous searches?

@phoenix

I look on Release Notes. There is no instruction on how and what can I do on GAL search on third party software (e.g. outlook). Before I can search GAL using outlook when I use zimbra 5.18 version. I think someone can correct the wiki. "http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Mail_Client_LDAP_Configuration" to fit on zimbra 6.0. Thanks

Did you read the section of the Release Notes on Anonymous searches for LDAP and check to see if it applies to your configuration?

If you think there's an error in the wiki articles then feel free to modify them, it's available for modification and is a community resource.

From Zimbra OS Release notes 6.0.6.1.pdf

Anonymous Searches
For new installations of ZCS 6.0, anonymous searches of the directory are
disabled. (Bug 15378) When you upgrade to 6.0, anonymous searches of the
directory are enabled, matching previous release behavior.

To disable anonymous search after upgrading, on each LDAP server, as
zimbra run /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmldapanon -d

To enable anonymous access at any point after it is disabled, on each LDAP
server run /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmldapanon -e

Important: Enabling anonymous binds is not recommended as it may expose
data not intended for anonymous access.

I will try do this now, thanks for the patience.
