Default Zimbra 4.5.0_GA_612 on FC5 Upgrade

Hello,

I would like to upgrade Zimbra to 6, but am finding issues even starting to get this done. The server I am working with is running FC5. I am having some trouble finding FC6 to upgrade with. I'm sure I can find it, but I am wondering if it is possible to just install a newer OS on a different server, install Zimbra 6 on this new server, and then just transfer files over and have everything work. Is this even possible or is my only two paths upgrades or start fresh?

Thanks for any help!

You would be far better install Zimbra on a new server with a new operating system such as CentOS5 and migrating to that, you will also need to do intermediate upgrades as there's no direct upgrade from your version to Zimbra 6.x. There are many articles and threads in the forums that describe how to do it, have a read of some of them and post again if you have any questions.
