Default Redirect URL?

Hey All,

Is there a way to configure Zimbra to redirect the URL?

Like, for instance, let's say I have CNAMES "1.domain.com" "2.domain.com" and "bob.domain.com" that point to "mailserver.domain.com".

Can Zimbra be configured to direct all HTTP requests to "mailserver.domain.com".

I ask because the free SSL certificate I'm going to obtain will only be valid for "domain.com" and "x.domain.com" (x being whatever I submit). I'd like to redirect anybody who accidentally types or browses to the other references.

I know how to configure this in Apache, perhaps it's similar in Zimbra? I'm running version 6.0.5_GA_2213.DEBIAN4.0.FOSS Feb 2, 2010.

I hope I'm making sense!

Thanks!

You can't configure this within Zimbra.

What I did was created redirects in apache on my web servers - so mail.domain.com DNS goes to zimbra, and I added several other aliases (pop/imap/webmail .domain.com) within Apache on another server which does an HTTP redirect to https://mail.domain.com/.

That's what I was planning to do if there wasn't a way to configure this on the mail server itself.
