Default Migrate from NE to Open Source

Hi,

I see there's a wiki page for migrating from OS to NE, but not vice versa.

Can I follow the same instructions to migrate away from the Network Edition, or will trouble ensue? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks.

You should backup your /opt/zimbra directory structure (with Zimbra stopped) and also run an NE backup, then you just need to run the Open Source installer to perform an 'upgrade'. You should also update with the same Open Source version as you have for NE.

The steps would be :-

1) Shutdown Zimbra (completely)
2) Take a *full* backup of /opt/zimbra
3) Download the same version of ZCS that you are running; but this time the OSS edition
4) Perform a upgrade using the OSS edition

If you have any issues regarding licenses after downgrading then please ensure that all NE Zimlets have been un-deployed.
