Question [SOLVED] Disaster recovery restore, admin extension zimlets no longer working

Hi everyone

After my 6.0.5->6.0.6 upgrade spectacularly failed the other day I finally managed to get up and running by following the disaster recovery steps.

However I now notice I no longer have the following sections in the Admin UI
- Backup/Restore
- License Information
- Certificate manager

Now what's strange is that the cert manager ui extension is listed in the admin UI, I'm just not getting the options for it.
However backuprestore and license management are not listed in the admin UI.
See attachment for a screengrab of what I see under Admin Extensions.
When I click on all of the Admin Extensions listed, undeploy is greyed out... apart from the com_zimbra_adminversioncheck
This suggests to me that they're not deployed.

Looking in zimlets-deployed confirms this, they're not listed in there. Only date, email and url zimlets are listed.

Should I try just deploying them from the zip files like any other zimlets from the zimlets-network folder?

I've tried flushing the server cache a few times but with no luck.

I'm using the NE trial at the moment (1 week letf) but planning to buy the 15 user starter pack on Wednesday so long as I can get everything up and running to my satisfaction.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Cheers, B

Right I just tried deploying the backuprestore and license zip files using the Admin UI deploy button
I downloaded the zip files for those extensions through scp from the zimlets-network folder

Now both those Admin Extensions appear in the "Manage Admin Extensions" screen but I don't see the options that they should be offering.
I should get an orange license box at the bottom of the left-hand menu in the Admin UI
And a whole Backup/Restore branch in the menu

However both those extensions are now showing in the zimlets-deployed directory

Also every time I login to the Admin UI (with Firefox 3.6.3 on Win XP) I get the following JS error:
Code:
Error: com_zimbra_backuprestore is not defined
Source File: https://zimbra.mydomain.com:7071/service/zimlet/res/Zimlets-nodev_all.js.zgz.js?v=100202221555
Line: 2426
Any ideas?

Just as an update for future reference, a zimbra restart cured this in the end.
Code:
zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start
All admin extensions are now present and correct. Whether they're working correctly remains to be seen. License info and backup sessions seem to be displaying ok, so happy days
