Default Zimbra Logger Issue

I installed Zimbra FOSS 6.05GA, on Ubuntu server 8.04. During the installation process, I chose to install logger service. But after installation while logged on to the Admin Panel, I got a message that it is unable to display server status, due to Zimbra logger not installed. I have checked on the Admin panel under services, and confirmed that logger is running, I also started and restarted Zimbra services thrice, each time, it shows that logger service is started.

What could be the problem?

Thanks I got this:

zimbra@p4mmail:~$ zmprov gs 'zmhostname'| grep -i installed
ERROR: zclient.IO_ERROR (invoke Connection refused, server: localhost) (cause: java.net.ConnectException Connection refused)

Found out that mailbox wasn't running, so I started it, checked to see that all services are running and ran the command again and got this instead:

ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_SERVER (no such server: zmhostname)

zmprov gs `zmhostname` | grep -i installed

Code:
zmprov gs 'zmhostname' | grep -i installed
Look at the angle of the ticks
