Unhappy Problems with accounts mail addresses

Hello

I have just installed Zimbra Collaboration suite Network edition 6.0.5 (trial version) on Ubuntu server 8.0.4TLS to try and later to buy.

All services are running.

With zmhostname ubuntu.tsrit.fr (Zimbra FQDN server)
In the admin console the accounts appears:
admin@ubuntu.tsrit.fr (instead of admin@tsrit.fr)
wiki@ubuntu.tsrit.fr
If i create new accounts : Its the same problem
marie.dubois@ubuntu.tsrit.fr

Can you tell me, what config-file must i change to resolve this problem.

I have install The same version (ZCS-6.0.5 opensource) and make the same configuration on /etc/hosts and named.conf and i don't have this problem (The accounts mail addresses are ok: marie.dubois@tsrit.fr)

Thanks for your help

Bests regards

You would have been asked during the install if you wanted to change the domain name, you should have answered 'yes' at that point and entered tsrit.fr as the domain name. You rename the domain but it's easier (if you have no email or anything that needs saving) to uninstall with './install.sh -u (that will remove everything in the /opt/zimbra directory) then reinstall and set the domain name correctly when asked.

Thanks for you quick response.

I have remove zimbra (./install.sh -u) then re-install.
Nowhere, it ask me to change the domain name with zcs-6.0 Network version) package
Then I have make a new install (format harddisk, réinstall ubuntu 8.0.4 TLS and re-install zimbra. Never, it ask me to change the domain name.
When it display the main menu with 23 options, I see that the lines are no good:
admin user: admin@ubuntu.tsrit.fr instead of
3) admin@tsrit.fr
21) version update notification email: admin@ubuntu.tsrit.fr instead of admin@tsrit.fr
22) version update source email admin@ubuntu.tsrit.fr
9) SMTP host: ubuntu.tsrit.fr (this is OK)

I have change all lines before save and install zimbra.
When i start the admin console the accounts that i have modified are OK, but the new accounts that i create are no good (marie.dubois@ubuntu.tsrit.fr) (same problem)

Now this is a new intall. I think, that this problem is inside the package that i have yesterday download.
Can you tell me, where Zimbra (in which file?) hat store this variable?

/etc/hosts:
127.0.0.1 locahost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.100 ubuntu.tsrit.fr ubuntu

Thanks

I've never seen the clean install not ask for the change of domain name. Try the domain rename with the following command:
Code:
zmprov -l rd ubuntu.tsrit.fr tsrit.fr
You can verify everything is OK by checking the details in the Admin UI and sending a few test emails.

Bonsoir
Je pense qu'en français, je peux m'exprimer plus facilement

J'ai exécuté la commande : zmprov -l rd ubuntu.tsrit.fr tsrit.fr
Il m'affiche l'erreur suivante:
ERROR:account. NO_SUCH_DOMAIN (no such domain ubuntu.tsrit.fr)
