Dont know if heres the place, but here it goes..
I have been playing a lot with zimbra 6.0.4, 6.0.5 and opensuse 11.1, 11.2.
And everytime after an install i say ok to inform zimbra about the install.
For some reason everytime it doesnt work.
Coud it be posibble to change how zimbra inform about the install..
For example, i woud find a lot more transparent, that if I push the ok, then zimbra creates and email and send it with the admin account. Soo later if anyone want to see what does the email said, it can be see on the sent items.
You have the option of notifying Zimbra of your installation.
This helps us to track the uptake of the Zimbra Collaboration Suite.
The only information that will be transmitted is:
The VERSION of zcs installed (6.0.5_GA_2213_openSUSEUNKNOWN_64)
The ADMIN EMAIL ADDRESS created (admin@ceresita.cl)
Notify Zimbra of your installation? [Yes]
Notifying Zimbra of installation via
http://www.zimbra.com/cgi-bin/notify...in@ceresita.cl
ERROR: Notification failed
If anyone knows from what log i cod get additional info, about why it fails please post!!
(Maybe i'm not the only one, and these is why there aren't so many suse installs registered)
