Default [SOLVED] Starting Zimbra gives LDAP error on freshly installed CentOS server

Code:
Checking ldap status....not running.
Starting ldap...failed with exit code: 256.
And it keeps repeating that when I try to install Zimbra on my server... after the initial install, it already gave an error regarding LDAP.

cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain mx
dig yourdomain any
host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes
Did you also disable SELinux ?

Well, the howto I read did not say I should do that, but I have no idea how I should set the admin password.

And could it cause the LDAP error?

Of course you need to set the admin password, it's what you need to login to the Admin UI.

I guess my install was not completed, when I read the quick-start it seemed that I indeed to set the admin password and than save configurationt.

I am sorry for having wasted your and my time by not reading the documentation.
