Gentoo Installation Help

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience setting up Zimbra on a Gentoo box. There is no ebuild available from what I can see.

I am not at all averse to trying to build from CVS, but am rather unexperienced with that when it comes to large installations with multiple dependencies. How do I determine what dependencies Zimbra has? (I'd love to be abled to emerge the dependencies first.)

Can anyone help by pointing me in the right direction?

since there are so many various patches, etc that the zimbra distribution uses- You can almost be sure that you're going to run into massive issues if you try to use gentoo's already patched copies of openldap/apache/mysql.

Best bet is to compile everything your self. Look around for zimbra manual build info and start down that path.
