Default Spilt Domain - Zimbra as Front-End Mail server from Exchange Server

Hi All,
I want tried to create a mixed environment between Zimbra and Exchange.
My Existing Mail Sytem using exchange 2003. I want to create zimbra as my front-end for my exchange.

I already install zimbra on ubuntu 8.04 and My User Authentication via Active Directory. Zimbra can forwarding to exchange server using "zmprov ma rengga.patria@metrocom.co.id zimbraMailTransport smtp:mta1.metrocom.co.id" command.
But the issue is why zimbra can't keep email on zimbra mailbox.
I Want all email recieve by zimbra mailbox and after that forwarding to exhcange server.
Any idea ?

Do you want to keep an email for each mail server (both Zimbra and Exchange) or only on Exchange ?

Actually, the above command will only forward such account (rengga.patria only) to the secondary mail server. Front-end mail server should be setup with this command :

Code:
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailCatchAllAddress @example.com
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailCatchAllForwardingAddress @example.com
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailTransport smtp:mail.example.com
The above setup will save message on the existing mailbox in Zimbra and deliver the rest into Exchange.

OK, I get the point.

If you wish to get the copy of message on each server, just keep the above configuration but add the following setup :
Zimbra Tips : Archiving, How to Make an Archive for Every Incoming and Outgoing Mail. The always_bcc account will act as catch_all_address and then you can retrieve the account from Exchange to be delivered to the target account.

BTW, is there any reason why you should keep the message on each server ?

The reason is because i want to replace my existing exchange server with zimbra, before i migrate all my user account to zimbra i must make sure everything ready and not cause any problem when i terminate exchange. That's why i still need exchange server keep recieving email.
I want zimbra catch all email messages then forward it to exchange server.

I will try ur next suggestion and i will update if i have a progress on this problem.

Is there any change if i can PM u on YM or by Mail?
Thx
