Tutorial : Installing Zimbra 5.0.21 on openSUSE 11.2 32 bit
Hi,
I've posted the installation tutorial on my personal blog, installing Zimbra 5.0.21 on openSUSE 11.2 32 bit. The tutorial covering all aspect so I hope it helps anyone who wish to installing latest Zimbra 5.x on latest openSUSE version.
Haven't yet fixed the problem with monitoring. However, I had a quick look into the sources... and if I'm not mistaken monitoring tools trying to read from zimbra-stats.log, which is completely empty for me.
At same time zimbramon is dumping a LOT of info (not really readable) into the main log /var/log/messages. I think there is a problem with syslog config. I bet it's outputing info into the wrong log where admin panel doesn't find it.
I'm working on same problem.
Trying to fix it by following the same procedure on openSUSE 11.1+Zimbra 5.x but still no luck.
Anyone trying on SLES 11 ?
are you having the same problems with this installation zimbra 5.0 and openSUSE 11.2?
