Default How To Upgrade From Release 6.0.2 to 6.0.4

In general what is the process.
I know how to backup my data and the actual server itself.
Basically do I just unzip and run .install.sh ?
Will it be smart enough to see the previous version and do an upgrade ?

    Thanks for any help
