Why are you running that command? The correct way to start Zimbra is with:

Code:
zmcontrol start
What does the following show:
Code:
zmcontrol status

Default Installation on Centos 5.4

G'day Guys,

Unfortunately I appear to have exactly the same issue with Postfix not wanting to start due to the same file ownership issues above. Zimbra seems to change everything back and zmfixperms doesn't seem to help.

Anyone got Zimbra 6 working on Centos 5.4??

Cheers
Andy

That is not a problem, just a normal warning message unless you have exactly the same messages. Post the details of the errors you see.

Yes, lots of people on these forums use it (including me) and it's one of the easiest distributions for installing Zimbra.

I assume you have a valid hosts file and DNS A & MX records? What do the log files show? Have you disabled the firewall and SElinux?

yep, zim6.03 on cent 5.4 x86_64. but (following prompts during install) had to turn off sendmail and dovecot (port conflicts) Do it in ntsysv, so they won't come back on a reboot.
