Default migrate to server edition...

Hi,

I've a workstation with ZDesktop installed. It is running really good, unlesss small details to be fixed.

However, server edition contains more utilities like iPhone connection, blackberry synch., etc. I want to install ZServer in my Wokstation but I don't know if I'll get any incompatibility with ZDesktop installed?

Thank you for yuor advises.

The server edition should be installed on its own dedicated hardware and not on a workstation.

Zimbra Desktop would not cause any incompatibilities, however, the features you're talking about are for Network Edition and not in the free Open Source version. It's also a major undertaking to install, maintain and run a mail server and there are increased hardware requirements. Have a read of the Documentation to see if it would fit your needs and the Product Comparison for a feature comparison of the versions available.

Default Zimbra support...

Hi...

Thank you for your posts. In the comparison table I can read that iPhone and Blackberry support are optional... Optional to pay more for that services or optional to be installed?

Thank you again.

The Open Source version is free to download and use, the other versions have a cost associated with them (including minimum licence numbers) and that includes any optional components - Pricing is in the panel on the right of that page with the Product Comparison.
