Default Must I install/configure Bind or is there an workaround? - can't just receive email

Hi Everyone.

Excuse my English.

MUST I install and configure a DNS server (Bind) in my Zimbra machine?

I'm asking that because I can send emails from my Zimbra to other domains outside my network.

But any email sent TO Zimbra users just doesn't come.

I suppose it's a DNS issue, and I imagine that I have to fix some MX configuration.

But I already have an external MTA (and Bind, etc) and I'm thinking if it's possible to skip DNS installation and leave that stuff to my another MTA/DNS just doing som
e Zimbra configuration.

Thanks to any help.

If you are behind a NAT router (or firewall) then you will need a local DNS server so that Zimbra (Postfix) can resolve it's own IP, if you don't have that then that's the reason mail is being deferred. Check the Split DNS article.
