    A re-install seems to fix most problems.

    Who would have believed it ?

    I should just point out that I only reinstalled zimbra, not the system, so nothing else than a zimbra component could have been running on port 110.

    Hi...I just upgraded from 4.0.0 to 4.0.2 on fc4 and I'm seeing the exact SAME problem....

    And I do NOT seem to be able to get past it....

    Yes...three times.....

    I just tried something weird...I stopped the portmap job....and then ended zimbra..w/tomcat not running..

    ...restarted zimbra...and it seems to be working now....

    I even restarted the portmap job.....

    ..and it is still working...

    ...Very strange....but I'll take it...
