You should not, under any circumstances, use a CNAME record for your mail server or you will encounter problems.

Where have you set-up those DNS records? According to the output I posted earlier they are not in either of the DNS server you have in your resolv.conf. You need to have those records hosted an an external DNS server - where does this DNS server that you've created these live?

This is the sight that host our website, I added another A record and another MX record for mail2.emeryscatering.com, there was already an MX record for pointing to the server where the email goes now. I guess I am lost with this part?

As I don't know exactly what you've done, all I can say is that the records aren't correct. Look at the dig commands in post #10, here's an example:

dig @64.105.204.27 emeryscatering.com mx

Using the @64.105.204.27 in that command will query that specific DNS server for information - when I did that on both of the servers in your resolv.conf I did not get any valid A or MX record pointing to your server.
