Default [SOLVED] 6.0.2 Release Notes and SLES 10/11Testing and Support

The Zimbra web site shows SLES11 64-bit as supported for ZCS NE 6 installations, but the 6.0.2 NE Release Notes (page 27) do not list SLES11 as a platform on which Zimbra has done any testing.

Does this mean that SLES11 is indeed supported, but Zimbra just doesn't test it internally? Or did this section of the Release Notes not get updated?

On a related note, the same Release Notes say testing was done on SLES10 SP1; this service pack is now very old. So, similar question: does Zimbra do testing only on SLES10 SP1 or do you test on a later service pack level? (SP3 is current).

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Our SLES10 build machines have been updated to SP3, and starting with 5.0.20 and 6.0.3, will be certified against that release.

The SLES11 64-bit system is tested to the full extent of all of our other platforms. The release documents for 6.0.3 will be updated to reflect this.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Regards,
Quanah
