Hi,

I like to install ZCS on vmware.
Is that supported?

Well it would all depend on which Guest O/S you are going to use ... Certainly in ZCS 6.0.2 Xen support will be included.

That may be the host OS.
Either way, Zimbra inside a Vm is find so long as the guest os is a supported one.

I have never actually heard of anyone being denied support for running in a VM, but yeah there is no official support yet. vote for this bug

i'm using Zimbra on OpenSuse 10.3 on VmWare installed on Windows 2003 Server R2.. it's going very well..

You may also want to note that openSUSE is no longer a supported platform for Zimbra from version 6.x onwards - perhaps you'd like to change platforms.

openSUSE is no longer a supported platform with such reason, the one because a small amount of installation compared to others, so, it would be helped to openSUSE community to spread Zimbra usage based on openSUSE so Zimbra would be possible to supporting openSUSE again
