I'm having this same issue. My main zimbra server is still on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and my MTA server is running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS both running 6.0.2 GA Release.

No fix yet but I do have an open case with a specialist looking at the problem.

I am also having the same problem. This install is 2 days old. AS you can see, everything is running but the status page does not agree.

Any clever Zimbra people have any ideas?

Thanks
Simon

The resolution is to re-create the SSH key and updating; restart ZCS and then as root run

Code:
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmsyslogsetup
Once that was done switch to the zimbra user and execute

Code:
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstatuslog
and check that /var/log/zimbra.log is being updated

Code:
grep "STATUS" /var/log/zimbra-stats.log | grep stats | head -n10
Refresh your browser, and voila ! it working

I have the same problem and it seem that nobody can help me with this. Services shows as red crosses in Admin GUI, but zmcontrol status reflects all services fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Hennie

I found that if you make any changes to the system, hostname, ip address, whatever, the services status goes pear shaped.

Did you make any changes like that?

Hi Simon,

No changes was made to the system at all. It allworked fine and very next moment it showed red crosses as if services were not started.

I have seen this happening in various posts in the forums and nobody can give us correct answer. I have done what guru4hp said above but still no luck.

Hennie
