Default zimbra 6.0.1 and ubuntu 9.04 server - can i install it?

hi all...just a simple question and a quick answer from you...
i want to install zimbra suite 6.01 (i think that's the latest) on an ubuntu 9.04 server.
is it possible?

well....i guess not! as i searched it can not be installed!

but the point is....ok,i'll install 8.04...but what about the updates? if i upgrade or update my 8.04 server, will it work or not?
thanks for your attention!
