trouble moving to new server

As a precursor to upgrading to ver 6, I am moving Zimbra to a new server (due to lack of disk space). I followed the procedure here, but get the following error when the install script tries to verify the message store database.

Error: assertion '-x /bin/mysqld_safe' failed

Not sure where I am going wrong here. Any help is appreciated.

It would help if you were to update your profile with the following information so we know which version of ZCS and OS you are using currently

su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v

Would you also please post the install log from /tmp.
