searching in the admin console

prior to upgrading from 5.0.18 to 6.0.1, using only the search bar above (not advanced search), i can easily search for an account or distribution list using first name, last name, account name, or even display name as the search string and results would appear. now, results appear only if i use account (or list) name as the search string. given this, does the search tool in this version only looks at the account (or list) names compared to the 5.x version which looks at other details as well? anybody else experiencing this?
