Default How to install 6.0 in Centos 5.1 ?

Hello

The following error message during installation :

You appear to be installing packages on a platform different
than the platform for which they were built.

This platform is CentOS5
Packages found: F11
This may or may not work.

Installation can not continue without manual override.
You can override this safety check with ./install.sh --platform-override

WARNING: Bypassing this check may result in an install or
upgrade that is NOT usable.

First of all I'd suggest you update to the most recent CentOS 5.3 before installing Zimbra, which version of Zimbra did you download (what is the filename)? There should be no problem installing Zimbra on CentOS.

Do exactly as it says using ./install.sh --platform-overide. Just answer yes when it asks if you are sure.

It looks like you are using the Fedora 11 Zimbra installer. I would recommend using the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Zimbra installer since CentOS 5 is just recompiled RHEL 5.

Not without knowing what version he's trying to install.
