Default 404 after installation

hi i am having problems with my zcs 6.0 open source edition:
i installed on ubuntu 8.04 64bit like described in the wiki (without the DNS server bc it has a static ip), but after the installation i still get an error 404 page in the browser, though i can login on the server via ssh. the domain is pointing on the ip-address correctly.
here is a screenshot of top, it says it is running, so why isn't it showing up in the browser?

If you are behind a NAT router then you must install a DNS server as postfix needs that to resolve it's IP address.

the server is not behind a nat, its a v-server that is directly connected to the internet with a static ip and a mail.mydomain.com pointing on it.

/edit: in /var/log/messages it keeps throwing messages like this: #628783 - Pastie

what does this mean? why is it skipping all the services?
