Default Zimbra Server and Load Balancer

Hi folks,
Is it really usefull to load balance requests to Zimbra Server via Load Balancer? I mean, each ZS has its own set of mail boxes so requests from user's browser will be resolved always by the same server or am I wrong?

thx,
CM

dalmate, I mean once a mailbox account is localted in one server every request independently of the protocol (IMAP,HTTP,POP) is resolved by that server and there is no way to scale with more servers if you do not move the accounts.

Wrong.

There is not load balancing technology in ZCS (unless you put some on your own and you can only put some in specific places).

ZCS scales by adding mailboxes servers.
One account is located on one server.

You can use load-balancing for MTA (or simply use DNS) and for zimbra-proxy (that proxifies the requests to the correct mailboxes servers). That's all.

Wrong?
can you answer:when we use more than one mailbox server (only mailbox server), how zimbra knows how to place an account into which mailbox server?
