Default migrating from zimbra5/debian4 to zimbra6/debian5

I have an installation with app. 200 users running Zimbra 5.0.18 on Debian 4.0 absolutely flawlessly.

Zimbra 6.0 didn't seem very stable so it is only at this time that I consider upgrading to 6.0.1. There are two versions of Zimbra 6.01 for Debian - one for Debian 4 and one for Debian 5

Problem:
I would like to upgrade - if possible. To Zimbra version 6.01 running on Debian 5.0 (Lenny).

Scenario:
I've seen posts about installing Zimbra 5.xx on Debian 5 - downgrading ertain perl packages etc. in the proces. So that might be a possible route:
Installing Debian 5.0 - and then installing Zimbra 5.18 with the necessary stuff.

It seems I have the following options

1) Staying with Zimbra 5 on Debian 4 - current situation
2) Upgrade to Zimbra 6 on Debian 4 - should be ok

To get Zimbra 6 working on Debian 5 - what should I do?

First idea is:

a) Closing down the Zimbra-server
b) Upgrading the Debian installation to 5.0 (Etch)
c) Installing Zimbra 6.0.1 (Debian 5 version )

Second idea (? propably bad...)

a) Installing Zimbra-6 on the current Debian installation (4.0)
b) Then upgrade the Debian-installation to Lenny (5)
c) Seems impossible according to documentation

What should i do?
