Zimbra won't print shared folder message after upgrade (5.0.18 to 6.0.0)

Hi all,

after upgrading zimbra from 5.0.18 to 6.0.0 zimbra won't print email from shared folder.
The web application says: Internal server error 500, try later.

No problem with own inbox mail.

How can I solve the issue?

Me Too , The Same Problem.

Same problem, shared folders have most problems atm after the upgrade. When you print from the shared folder email list through the menu or rightclick it will open a new window with the server error 500.

Workarround is currently to open the mail and then print.

Same problem. It only happens with the "View by conversation" mode. A bug as been created in Bugzilla, feel free to vote for it or add any comment : Bug 41909 – Conversations in shared folders cannot be printed

hi everybody,

the bug is not fixed completly. It still exists, when "view: by mail" or "viey: by converstaion" and select the complete conversation!

are there any plans to reopen the bug?

Only if you reopen the bug by adding more information or report it to Zimbra support.

Then you should raise a support case and give them full details of the problem and the bug number, if your problem is valid they'll get it reopened.

Hi Bill,

i am sorry, the Problem got discovered on a FOSS version 6.0.7. -> no supprtticket.
As long as this is not fixed, i wont upgrade NE to 6. On the other hand, why should i waste a supportticket, when the error is already documented and partially fixed? But the Bug got closed cause the QM failed.

This is not really a reason to recommend the customer the NE.

Well, the feature works for me - I can print an email in a shared folder by right-click/Print and output is sent to a printer or file as required. If you really think the feature is broken they you need to file a bug report, without that it won't get fixed.
