For any given period of time, the charts will look identical until you exceed the time period of said chart.

E.g. 48 hours and 30 days will look the same until you have more than 48 hours of data, 30 and 60 days will look the same until you have more than 30 days of data, and 60 and 365 days will look the same until you have more than 60 days of data.
I didn't know this. Thanks. Now it make sense and I can rely on it.

Did the fix! Thanks! I'll let you know if I have any-more issues with that - Also restarted the stats services so it should be a fresh start.

Thanks again!

Oh - and as for the charts :P - Not very attractive - I don't mind the flash - but perhaps FusionCharts v3 - Animated Flash Charts & Maps for web applications might be something to look at :P .. If I get the time I'll take a look at the chart generation in zimbra, to see if I can make something work with fusioncharts - I've done lots of development with those and they really ROCK..

Default any results from investigation?

The stats service "stopping" is fixed for 6.0.2.

There is no method to migrate stats data from 5.0 to 6.0; it's possible but somewhat difficult to go and do.
pfnguyen, did your investigation as proposed above reveal any news, e.g. the root cause or at least a workaround?
We are having the issue here on a 6.0.4_GA_2038.UBUNTU8_64 UBUNTU8_64 FOSS which is in production since 3 1/2 months but stats still fail.

Personally I do not like Flash and would far see Zimbra use something like ChartDirector Chart Gallery which offers a Java framework and the cost for them to deploy would be very low indeed.
