The only place to put bug reports and RFEs is in bugzilla, that way developers will get notified of new feature requests and problems with any of the products.

The stats service "stopping" is fixed for 6.0.2.

There is no method to migrate stats data from 5.0 to 6.0; it's possible but somewhat difficult to go and do.
is this problem also occurring to servers with fresh install? or to those who upgraded from 5.0.x only? will wait for 6.0.2 then. thanks very much!

Default yes, it occurs in new installs going back to RC1

I have done about 8 installs they all have the problem with stats.

I am unhappy to report that my server just emailed me to inform me that the stats changed from running to stop..

zmcontrol status - shows stats Stopped -

Then zmstatctl status shows:
/opt/zimbra/zmstat/pid/zmstat-convertd.pid not running

This is different than before w/ 6.0.1 - where the allprocs service would stop.. So any help on how to fix this one?

Thanks!

Maybe stats are back, but since it flash based, it's not possible to check my zimbra server with my iPhone anymore. I still don't get it why they had to change it.

zmstat-convertd exhibits a similar bug to zmstat-allprocs that I missed for 6.0.2; the fix is the same too:

Go to line 57 of /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstat-convertd and change it to say:

next if (!defined($ppid));

instead of

die "ppid not found for $pid" if (!defined($ppid));

Better performance (zmlogger has much improved since previous versions, especially with 6.0.2)

realtime charts without needing zmgengraphs

advanced charting--pick and choose what you want to graph from all of the zmstat data

more interactivity in the charts: hover over a datapoint to see its value at any given time.

Blame Apple for the lack of flash.

I agree about Apple and Flash.
But how reliable are the stats? See my screenshot. Same graphic with different labels.

The behavior is a little bit confusing now until I figure out a better way to address it--but I have mentioned it before on this thread (or a related one, I forget).

For any given period of time, the charts will look identical until you exceed the time period of said chart.

E.g. 48 hours and 30 days will look the same until you have more than 48 hours of data, 30 and 60 days will look the same until you have more than 30 days of data, and 60 and 365 days will look the same until you have more than 60 days of data.
