Default Zimbra 5.0.18 installation

I have installed the zimbra collaboration suite in redhat enterprise linux 5 version. After installing the zimbra spell is stopped in the server status. But if i send internal mails it is working properly. Is this zimbra spell check is important or can i omit this error and start working.

With Regards,

Ramji M.H.

As show on it's name, Zimbra Spelling needed for spelling & checker, CMIIW. If you never (and will not ever) using this feature, you can avoid it, even the better solution is not installed unused component.

Beside the usage, stopped status means something wrong in your configuration, and it may impact to the server performance. I woul recommend you to investigate and solve the problem.

For initial problem solving, you could investigate the /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log and /var/log/zimbra.log
