Default [SOLVED] Can not send/receive mails on intranet after installation

Hello All,

I have just installed the zimbra on RHEL-5. The installation went fine but I am now unable to send/receive mails from the zimbra client panel. I have created two user account and tries to send mails between them bt not received any mails. however chat is fully functional. I have checked the services and all are running fine acc to me.

Is there anything else I am missing after the installation.

Any help regarding this will be greatly appreciated...

What changes did you make to cause this error? I assume you've done this, if that's the case then you've probably made a mistake in setting it up - try the Troubleshooting tips in that article. If that's not the case then post details of the changes you've made to Zimbra.

Hi Bill !
thanks for your reply....
I found the workaround for this in:
Outgoing email problems - HowtoForge Forums | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials

but I will look into the link you provided surely as what I have done is just a workaround not a proper solution.....
thanks for reply again...
