Default domain for website and sub-domain for zimbra server, is it ok for receiving mail ?

hi brothers ! i have a question for u this time. maybe it's quite basic.

i have a domain. i.e mydomain.com . it host a website and its external ip is 1.2.3.4

i also have a subdomain which is mail.mydomain.com . it points to my zimbra server which its external ip is a.b.c.d

my zimbra domain is mydomain.com

so how can i configure MX or A record in mydomain.com to receive mail from internet ?

p/s : i installed zcs. and it work well ^^ ( thanks to your advice )

You need to set-up your DNS records at your DNS hosting provider or the company that hosts your domain name.
