Default [SOLVED] command not found

just installed an Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and Zimbra. Installation seemed to go with no problems after I had all the pre-reqs installed. Now I'm having a problem just checking the status to see if it's working.

I'm at the directory opt/zimbra/bin and when I type zmcontrol status I get the message command not found.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You need to "su - zimbra" as your method woesn't create the correct environment.

Why not just
Code:
sudo -u zimbra -i
zmcontrol status

thanks phoenix - - 2 fold problem appeared. When I tried the su -zimbra I got an Authentication Failure. I then set the password for the zimbra user and tried su - zimbra and entered the password I just set and it worked. I then typed zmcontrol status and it's showing me the status of the modules.

I may have some other issues, but for now this one is resolved. I'm a newbie if you couldn't tell Thanks again.

You shouldn't have needed a password for that user, it's set-up during installation.
